The fall 2007 retreat was a blast for everyone who  participated!  22 woman attended the retreat - some had been coming for the last 5 years and some had just chosen to place 30 days before.  It is a wonderful opportunity to have women from different places on the same path all together to learn from and to teach each other.

The woman help each other through difficult emotions, providing a shoulder to cry on when needed.  Daina, Su and  Margot are there for each other. 
Saturday night we enjoyed a cozy bonfire down on Lake Michigan.  Watching the sunset was an amazing experience.
Much of our time is spent discussing adoption issues, becoming strong women and working through difficult emotions.  Many of our participants come back year after year for the closeness they feel among these women.
