Who We Are The On Your Feet Foundation was started in 2001 by a small group of adoptive parents, adoption professionals such as social workers and lawyers, and other concerned individuals (including a birth mother) who have first-hand experience with adoption. Although we know the value of tangible assistance, we believe the most valuable things we can offer are our open hearts and creative minds. Rosie received a grant to attend an EMT program at Weiss Memorial Hospital. She has completed this program and is now working full-time as an Emergency Medical Technician. She says "Completing this program has given me the confidence to continue towards a career in nursing." Marianne returned to school last September and will be completing her Accounting degree next May. She has attended school full-time achieving straight A's while working part-time at Walgreens. Marianne received a grant from the foundation to cover the cost of her books, a portion of her tuition as well as a refurbished computer and printer. She plans on becoming a certified public accountant. | ||||||||||||||||||
