Birthmother Retreat on MTV's Teen Mom

In October, a crew from the MTV came to the Birthmother retreat to film for their documentary series "Teen Mom."  Birthmother Catelynn Lowell, (who was also followed last fall on MTV's "16 & Pregnant," ) attended the retreat as a participant. 

In keeping with our belief that adoption education is essential, we agreed to let the cameras into our sacred weekend with the hope that this will educate and enlighten more people about who birthparents really are and why choosing adoption for your child is a plan you can be proud of.

Thanks to all the amazing women who participated in the filming and  hats off to the director and crew of "Teen Mom" for their professionalism and interest in such an important topic.
